Launched Public Authority for Health Care Its awareness campaign on the correct ways of washing hands and the importance of maintaining the health of the mouth, teeth and gums, in Suez Governorate.
The campaign, which is being implemented by the authority, aims to teach children to wash hands in the correct way, according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization, in addition to examining their teeth and raising awareness of the importance of brushing their teeth to maintain the health of the mouth, teeth and gums.
And the statement continued: The campaign primarily targets children of all ages. During the awareness campaign activities, children were taught the correct ways to wash hands, and the importance of brushing teeth from childhood. A number of symbolic gifts and coloring booklets were also distributed to encourage children on the importance of washing hands and brushing. Teeth in the right way, in order to urge children to pay attention to personal hygiene.
The authority emphasized that infection prevention and control, including hand hygiene, is crucial to achieving comprehensive health coverage, pointing to the importance of raising awareness among young people of these preventive measures, and informing them of sound health patterns in a practical way, pointing out that hand and dental hygiene and following proper methods and steps in Taking care of them, in addition to using technological tools to create a passion and enjoyment among children for the importance of washing hands, as it is considered one of the most effective measures to reduce the spread of pathogens and prevent infections and their transmission, especially viral ones, including the emerging corona virus (Covid 19).
