During a press conference, public health authorities of the City of El Paso released details about the current immunization situation against the coronavirus.
Among them, is that 752 people have been infected with COVID-19, despite the fact that they already had their vaccination doses, as revealed by Héctor Ocaranza, a doctor from the Health Authority of the City of El Paso.
Regarding the recent cancellation of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine by the CDC, in El Paso a total of 1,244 vaccines of the aforementioned brand were applied to residents of the city.
“We ask those people that, if they have dizziness, unusual symptoms, go for a medical check-up, if there are no effects, they do not have to worry,” said Ocaranza.
It was also added that 2,240 doses of Johnson & Johnson remain frozen pending new information from the CDC.
In addition, people who have not received an appointment for a second dose are asked to call 915-21-COVID (915-212-6843) to make an appointment. They ask the public to check their email, especially the spam folder.
