Tokyo, March 10 (Sputnik).- A commission of experts from the Japanese Ministry of Health recognized for the first time that vaccination against covid-19 could have caused the death of a person.
A 365-page report published this Friday indicates that “the cause-effect relationship cannot be ruled out” in one of the 1,791 deaths registered shortly after vaccination.
This is a 42-year-old woman who died on November 5, 2022, less than two hours after receiving a dose of vaccine against the new coronavirus. Although the lady suffered from obesity, diabetes and hypertension, the tests carried out did not reveal abnormalities that could have caused her death.
At the same time, the report points to a possible human error: faced with a severe allergic reaction, the staff at the vaccination point did not administer adrenaline to that woman.
The previous edition of the report, which was released on January 20, did not mention similar cases among the 1,782 documented deaths.
So far in this pandemic, more than 289.7 million doses of vaccines have been administered in Japan. (Sputnik)
