Today, Saturday, Saturday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 1,499 persons recovering from the Corona virus have been discharged from hospitals, after receiving necessary medical care and recovering according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization, bringing the total of those recovering from the virus to 41137 cases until today.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Population for Media Affairs and the official spokesperson of the Ministry, stated that 238 new cases have been proven positive for laboratory analysis of the virus, as part of the surveillance, investigation and necessary examinations conducted by the Ministry in accordance with the guidelines of the World Health Organization, pointing to the death of 29 new cases.
“According to the recommendations of the World Health Organization issued on May 27, 2020, the disappearance of symptoms for 10 days of infection is an indication of the patient’s recovery from the Coruna virus,” Mujahid said.
“Mujahid” stated that the total number that was registered in Egypt with the new Corona virus as of today, Saturday, is 94,316 cases, of whom 41137 cases were cured, and 4,834 deaths.
