His military service included participation in the war in the Democratic Republic of Congo from 1999 to 2000. It was during this time that he trained as a radiographer, a profession he continued after retiring from the army in 2021.
His dedication to learning extended beyond his military career.He earned a Theology degree in 2022 from the National University of Science and Technology, further enriching his role as a minister in the Mutendi-led Zion Christian Church (ZCC). At the time of his death, he worked at Fort Street Medical and Dental Surgery in Bulawayo, where he was known for his unwavering dedication and professionalism.
Manyise is survived by his wife, Rejoice Chihanga, and their two children, a daughter (20) and a son (15).
