Robert Plant and Alison Krauss had to cancel their show twenty minutes before their performance at the Bruges Cactus Festival, reports our editor who is on site. Krauss has the flu and her vocal cords aren’t pulling.

Covid already killed The Regrettes and Clairo at Rock Werchter, a throat infection kept Sam Fender off the stage. Also at the Cactus festival, headliners had to cancel, this time because of the flu. The star duo Robert Plant and Alison Krauss would guarantee a magical evening at the Minnewater Park together, but Krauss had to apologize because her vocal cords are not pulling it.
“We are very sorry to have to cancel tonight’s performance. Unfortunately, Alison Krauss has been struck by a flu virus that has affected her vocal cords and is unable to sing,” the festival said in a statement. Krauss is said to have tested negative for Covid-19 twice.
Led Zeppelin vocalist and frontman Robert Plant is legendary for his impressive vocal range. This is also the case in this collaboration with vocalist/violinist Alison Krauss, who, with 27 Grammys on the stage, also laid the foundation for a new, refreshing wind within country and bluegrass.
