Madgaon: Mumbai City-Bangalore FC clash in ISL today. The match will be played in Goa at 7.30 pm. Mumbai are currently second with 34 points from 16 matches. Today, Mumbai have a chance to overtake ATK Mohan Bagan with 36 points.
Bangalore, meanwhile, need to win the remaining matches by a good margin to maintain their play-off hopes. BFC is currently in seventh place with 19 points from 17 matches. Earlier in the season, Mumbai had won the toss and elected to bat.
There were two matches in the ISL on Sunday. In the first match, North East United advanced to the third position after defeating Odisha FC by three goals to one. Luis Mashado scored a double for the North East. Deshom Brown scored another goal. Odisha’s only goal was scored by Brad Inmam.
In yesterday ‘s second match, Jamshedpur FC defeated Mumbai City 1-0 to move to the top of the ATK table. Roy Krishna scored ATK’s winning goal in the 85th minute with an assist from David Williams. This is Roy Krishna’s 13th goal of the season. The top-ranked ATK has 36 points.
