“Head Sweating: A Common Sign of Vitamin D Deficiency”

Vitamin D is an essential vitamin needed to regulate calcium and phosphate levels, which in turn helps maintain healthy teeth, bones, and muscles. Deficiency of this vitamin can lead to many unpleasant symptoms. Among which is sweating of the head, says therapist Irina Andreeva.

In winter and early spring, ultraviolet rays hit the Earth at the wrong angle, which is why vitamin D is not produced in the body in sufficient quantities. Certain groups of people are more vulnerable to vitamin D deficiency, including the elderly, dark-skinned people, pregnant and lactating women, and those who are poor eaters.

Head sweating as a common symptom of vitamin D deficiency is confirmed by medical studies of the vitamin laboratory. Excessive sweating due to neuromuscular irritability and overstimulation of the sweat glands is still described as a common early symptom of vitamin D deficiency.

There are other signs of vitamin D deficiency: weak muscles, weight gain, fatigue, weak bones and joints, reports “Medicforum”.
