Sad news in time pandemic COVID-19 come back. Chairman of the Central Executive Board (DPP) NasDem Party Emmy Hafild die.
“He died at 9:17 p.m. at Pondok Indah Hospital,” said Taufik Basari, chairman of the DPP for Law and Human Rights of the NasDem Party, to detikcom, Saturday (3/7/2021).
Emmy Hafild is the former Executive Director of the Indonesian Forum for the Environment (WHA).Walhi) and was an Executive Director Greenpeace Southeast Asia. He died in a confirmed case of COVID-19.
“He has COVID-19 and has a comorbid cancer,” said Taufik.
Taufik reported that the deceased will be buried with the COVID-19 burial procedure at the Tanah Kusir Public Cemetery (TPU). Emmy is survived by her husband and two children.
Taufik remembers Emmy Hafidl as the guardian of NasDem’s political morality.
“He often reminds us to maintain morality in the party. Do not deviate from people’s expectations. He is the guardian of political morality,” he said.
