Head of DKI Regional Asset Management Agency Resigns

Jakarta, CNN Indonesia

Head of Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD) DKI Jakarta Pujiono resigned from his post. This news was confirmed by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) Maria Qibtya.

“Right, back off,” said Maria via text message to CNNIndonesia.com, Wednesday (19/5).

However, Maria did not explain in detail the reasons for Pujiono’s resignation. He also did not mention Pujiono’s replacement.

Pujiono was inaugurated by DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan as Head of the Regional Asset Management Agency on January 8, 2020. Pujiono passed the selection for echelon II position auction.

Meanwhile, Head of Commission A DRPD DKI Jakarta, Mujiyono also admitted to having received this information.

“Earlier BKD telephoned, that’s right (Pujiono resigned from the Head of BPAD) on the 17th yesterday,” said Mujiyono.

Mujiyono said the reason Pujiono resigned was because he felt he was not successful in carrying out his duties as Head of BPAD. Mujiyono said, Pujiono no longer felt he was able to solve the problem of assets in DKI.

This member of the Democrat Party faction explained that asset management in Jakarta is not an easy matter. He admitted that he had sat on Commission C which was directly related to asset issues in 2011.

According to him, at that time it was always difficult for DKI to get the title of Unqualified (WTP) from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).

“When I served in Commission C in 2011, why did DKI not visit WTP in the past, one of the biggest factors was the matter of assets,” explained Mujiyono.

“There are so many on the asset list whose physical status was not found. There is a statement that says ‘physical is not found’, so the item is not there, but is recorded,” he added.

According to him, when he was given the position, Pujiono got the task to fix this. However, the problem has been difficult to fix.

“Looks like he is feel this hard take care ofhim, “explained Mujiyono.

Mujiyono admitted that he did not know whether Anies Baswedan had appointed an executor (Plt) after Pujiono’s resignation. However, he asked Anies to appoint a figure with asset handling capabilities.

“My message is, whoever becomes the Acting Officer must have the ability to handle assets,” he added.
