Department V was established in 2023 and, as part of the Health Department (FB 53), deals with health promotion and prevention, which is an increasingly relevant challenge due to demographic change. The child and youth health service as well as the public health, dental and social psychiatric services are also located here. Likewise, the Schools and Education Department (FB 40), which is in close contact with the vocational colleges and special schools and includes the Education Service Center.
Main tasks
- Independently lead and manage Department V with the two departments of Health and Schools and Education – changes in the distribution of departments remain reserved
- Manage and help shape the goals of the Unna district administration in a future-proof manner, taking into account legal and political framework conditions
- Strategically align and integrate the Department of Health within the framework of the Public Health Service Pact
- Lead the currently around 250 employees in an appreciative manner and confidently represent the department to higher authorities, (political) committees, companies, citizens and associations
your profile
- Successful studies, e.g. business administration, social sciences, medicine, health economics or a comparable subject
- or the qualification for career group 2, 2nd entry level of the general non-technical administrative service
- Several years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the medical field or in the healthcare sector
- Proven leadership experience, ideally several years of leading an interdisciplinary team
