Head of Citilink Jakarta-Blora Emergency Door Opens: Only Drops Slightly

Blora

A village head opens the plane’s emergency door Citilink Jakarta-Blora route. He said the emergency door didn’t open, it just fell a little.

The Citilink aircraft with flight number QG 1184 to Ngloram Blora Airport canceled its flight from Jakarta because the emergency door was opened by a passenger. The passenger was the Head of Nglebak Village, Sudarto (57), who admitted that he accidentally opened the emergency door.

“My friends got tickets, then I told the event organizer (EO). How come I only got an antigen letter, I didn’t get a ticket. Then the EO agreed to find a ticket. Even though at that time I offered to take the bus instead of being complicated ,” said Sudarto, starting his story when contacted detik.com, Tuesday (12/21/2021).

After waiting for about 1 hour, Sudarto finally got a plane ticket. Initially, he got a seat at the very front.

“I got a ticket in seat number 1. I sat in the front, on the right. But when the flight attendant gave directions to the passengers, I was moved to a seat near the emergency exit,” said Sudarto.

“What is that door. This is the door, maybe my hand accidentally pressed the panel or the button to open the emergency door. That’s what happened. Finally I was pulled into the office. I asked, what was the penalty for me?” he added.

“It didn’t open, it just dropped a little. If I hadn’t been moved, maybe it wouldn’t have happened until that happened,” he said.

Sudarto said that in the office, he made a statement containing the passenger’s negligence. However, he said he did not know that it was forbidden and accidentally opened the emergency door.

“After being questioned, I was interrogated for about an hour. The airline was only given a penalty that the plane ticket to Blora was forfeited. I was also offered to go home to Blora by what? I answered that I would take the bus. to be delivered to the terminal,” he said.

Sudarto also admitted that he did not know if the plane he was on was finally canceled. Including the question of the fate of the plane passenger group containing the village heads from the Kradenan, Tunjungan and Kunduran sub-districts, finally switching modes of transportation to return to Blora.

Some of the passengers chose to take another plane with the aim of going to Juanda Airport and taking the train. Some choose to take the bus.

“I myself took the bus back to Blora. My interrogation also didn’t tell me that the other passengers couldn’t fly. I was shocked,” he said.

Sudarto admitted that his plan to take a plane back to Blora yesterday was his second experience on a plane.

“The first flight was on Friday when it departed from Ngloram. And the second was on Monday, but did not get on the plane because of the incident,” he said.

Sudarto also admitted that he was a little scared the first time he rode aircraft. But the fear was not so felt because he was sitting in the middle seat.
