Diogo Jota make another goal with a moment header Liverpool conquer Arsenal. Jota’s head turned out to be as dangerous as his legs.
Jota was only a backup when Liverpool visited Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, Sunday (4/4/2021) in the morning WIB. The Trio Firmansah installed in the attack line dominated the game since the first half.
However, the three players even wasted opportunities before finally Jota was played in the 61st minute. It only took three minutes for Jota to then put his name on the scoreboard.
A cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold headed for the far post and Jota headed firmly against Bernd Leno. Even though Jota was being guarded by two Arsenal players.
The goal made Liverpool more free to attack Arsenal and added another goal through Mohamed Salah in the 68th minute. Jota then scored his second goal in the 82nd minute to ensure Liverpool’s 3-0 victory.
For Jota, the two goals were like continuing his sharpness with the Portugal national team at the last international break. Appearing as a starter in two matches, Jota made three goals and one assist.
Jota’s three goals have all come from the head. That means that in this week, Jota has scored four header goals and this is definitely interesting. Because Jota is only 178 cm tall and playing underball is his mainstay.
But, that did not reduce Jota’s sharpness in scoring goals with his head. In the Premier League, Jota has scored three headers this season.
“Sometimes you don’t score goals like this in a long time, but I am there to make a difference and I always try to do that,” he said Diogo Jota as quoted BBC Sport.
