Striker legend Roman Wallner becomes head coach for the first time. The former team player takes over as head coach at regional league team SAK 1914. The SAK announced this in a broadcast.
Roman Wallner was already an individual coach at Salzburg’s oldest football club. As an individual trainer, Wallner was primarily responsible for the processes involved in the attack. In autumn, Wallner already sat on the bench in three games as head coach and celebrated three victories. Now the former team player has been promoted to head coach.
Wallner ended his career as an active footballer about a year ago. In 22 years as a professional, he played for a total of 13 clubs, wore the Austrian national team jersey 29 times and scored seven goals.
