What would they have been looking for?
Speroni would have asked for information – on behalf of the law firm where Equilize worked – on the oil entrepreneur, Francesco Mazzagatti (not investigated), by which Eni believed itself damaged. According to what was revealed by the Prosecutor’s Office, it was Gallo who carried out the research on the entrepreneur and judged him to be close to the ‘Ndrangheta. After all, former policeman Gallo, given his previous roles, was an expert in organized crime.
