Novak Djokovic ascended the throne of the ATP rankings for the first time on July 4, 2011, shortly after his first Wimbledon final victory against Rafael Nadal. After staying at the top for 53 weeks, he was overtaken by Roger Federer.
November 2012 returned to the front lines as the front runner for another 48 weeks. Another 122 weeks (the longest lead time) ran from July 7, 2014 to November 6, 2016. After two years, the Serb managed to return to the command: Another important date was the 5th.
November, the year 2018, for exactly one year as champion, before he had to give in to Nadal again and finally return to first place.
