The patrolmen detained the driver who caused the accident and fled from the scene of the accident. As it turned out, he was deprived of his rights and was under the influence of three drugs.

The accident happened in early September on Rabochaya street between Nissan Qashqai and BMW 3. The driver of the last car fled the scene.
On the afternoon of November 12, on orientation, the patrolmen found a car. Law enforcement officers found out that the driver was deprived of his driver’s license, and they also saw signs of intoxication from him. The check showed that the man was under the influence of three drugs at once.
They also found a bag of powder and a device for smoking marijuana with him, which were sent for examination.
Protocols were drawn up under Part 2 of Article 130 (driving while intoxicated for the second time in a year), Article 124 (violation of traffic rules, which led to an accident) and Article 122-4 (leaving the scene of an accident). In addition, he received a decree under part 4 of Article 126 (driving a person deprived of his rights) of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
His car was taken to the penalty area.
Note that in the first ten months of 2021 (January-October), 154,480 road accidents occurred in Ukraine, in which 2,592 people died and 24,905 were injured.
In October alone, there were 16 599 accidents (340 dead and 2 615 injured).
As reported OBOZREVATEL, in Kiev, the driver, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, hit a man at a crosswalk… The victim died on the spot from his injuries.
