Former Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets player Darius Morris has died at the age of 33.

Morris was drafted in the second round by the Lakers in 2011 and played in 67 regular season games for the franchise. He also played for the Philadelphia 76ers, LA Clippers, and Memphis Grizzlies before playing 38 games with the Nets in the 2014-15 season before ending his four-year NBA career.
He last played for Gravelines-Dunkerque in 2020 after playing in China, Russia and the NBA G League. His death was first reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania.
A native of Los Angeles, Morris played in college at Michigan from 2009 to 2011, averaging 10 points per game.
