The Ioannina Security Sub-Directorate, in collaboration with the Department of Criminal Investigations of the General Regional Police Directorate of Epirus, identified the details of a citizen, against whom a felony case was filed for distinguished thefts.
As it emerged from the police investigation, the defendant had joined with an unknown accomplice with the purpose of committing thefts using the employment method.
In particular, under the pretext of selling clothing and footwear, the two women entered homes of the elderly, where one of them occupied them with the demonstration of the products, giving the other the opportunity to investigate the premises of the houses.
Using the specific course of action, it was established that the accused was involved in two thefts, which took place on 23/08 and 15/09/2023 in the city of Ioannina against two elderly women, where a large amount of jewelry and a total of 3,100 euros were taken.
The filed case file will be submitted to Mr. Prosecutor Plimmeliodiki of Ioannina.
