When you hear the name David Caruso, a faint glimmer of familiarity probably comes to mind. If you watched TV in the 1990s and early 2000s, you know who this man is.
Caruso was born on January 7, 1956, in Forest Hills, Queens, New York. His parents divorced when he was young, and Caruso struggled in a single-parent home. He was determined to make something of his life.
Among his first roles, we can cite Hill Street Blues, First Blood (1982), et An Officer and a Gentleman (1982). These roles were, however, modest and, although they helped him develop his acting talent, it was not thanks to them that he became a recognizable face on television.

He got his first role in NYPD BlueIn 1993, Caruso starred as Detective John Kelly in the hit television series NYPD BlueThe series was a huge success, earning it widespread recognition and adoration, as well as a Golden Globe nod.
Although Caruso’s time on the show was short-lived, as he left the season following a dispute over his salary and creative control, it was memorable. His decision was criticized by many and is considered a negative turning point in his professional life.
After leaving NYPD Bluehe tried to get into film but did not have much success. He appeared in the films Movies like Jade (1995) et Kiss of Death (1995)which did not have great commercial success.
In 2002, Caruso made his comeback in CSI: Miami playing Horatio Caine. The series was a huge success and his character was appreciated for his one-liners and cool attitude. CSI: Miami lasted ten seasons and allowed Carus to cement his place in television history.
However, when the actor was spotted recently, people were surprised by his appearance. Of course, the actor has aged since his Hollywood days. He stepped away from acting after finishing CSI: Miami, which may have allowed him to adopt a more relaxed lifestyle.
There have been no reports of any health issues with the actor, so the only thing that could have contributed to his change in appearance would be natural aging, as it has been a while since most people have seen him on television.
