The first findings are that Boji calls at least 29 subway stations a day and walks about 30 kilometers in a day. He knows how and where to get on the bus and metro and fellow passengers also recognize the dog by now.
‘Everyone knows him’
Boji has also become indispensable on social media, and he now has his own accounts with thousands of followers. The video below also shows how Boji moves through the city:

Photographer Chris McGrath followed Boji for a day during his tour of the city and saw that the dog actually wants to jump on every bus or tram it comes across. “And everyone knows him or has seen him,” McGrath said to CNN.
The boat to Besiktas necessarily
However, not everyone is always happy with Boji. Like recently in a restaurant, where two men yelled at Boji to find another place. The owner intervened. “That’s Boji! He can stay.”

Most remarkable, according to McGrath, was that Boji certainly has preferences for certain modes of transport. For example, he prefers to take the boat to the Besiktas district, and not to Eminönü. “He checked the boat to Eminönü, but that was clearly not where he wanted to go. Boji ducked under the gates and took the other boat moments later.”
Posters over Colors
So a dog with a mind of its own, and he won’t let others tell you much about it. He doesn’t sit around people to be petted, and he certainly won’t be told where to go.

Boji is part of the city, but the residents must know how to deal with him, the municipality thought. Soon posters will be put up with information about Boji, and how you can best deal with him.
