Have a nice picnic together on the way to the destination, Barbara thought, but they hadn’t been sitting for five minutes before Mick (4) started screaming.
Barbara (41): “I had spread sandwiches for the road, so we could have such a nice picnic table eat it, I thought.

We hadn’t sat for five minutes before Mick (4) started screaming. He was stabbed by a wasp, in his tongue. We didn’t know what to do except yell for him to suck his tongue hard and spit on the floor.
“’Is Mick going to die?’ Yuna shouted (6)”
‘What if his tongue gets swollen and he’s choking’, my friend stirred up the panic for a while. ‘Is Mick going to die?’ Yuna (6) shouted. That’s what Mick heard, who started screaming even louder: ‘I’m dying, I’m dying!’

In the end it wasn’t too bad and the worst suffering was over after an hour, but the idyll of the picnic was hard to find. Mick still refers to that holiday as ‘the holiday he almost died’.”
