“For us it is an important date because we receive teams from all over the country, with young people whose image is one of hope and talent. We welcome them with open arms in a region that inspires, hoping that it will be a fair game that leaves no learning behind,” reflected the Governor of Ñuble, Óscar Crisóstomo, marking, last night, the official opening ceremony of the National Youth Amateur Soccer Ñuble 2024 , held at the ANFA Chillán Stadium.
On the grass of the local venue and to the sound of the band from the Colegio El Arbol de la Vida de San Carlos, the 17 competing teams paraded: Arica, Iquique, Antofagasta, Chañaral, Tiarras Blancas de Coquimbo, Con Con, Graneros, Romeral, Chillán, San Carlos, Talcahuano, Villarrica, Panguipulli, Castro, Coyhaique, Ultima Esperanza de Magallanes and Las Condes de la Region Metropolitana.
The president of ANFA Nacional, Justo Álvarez, assured that “we thank the Regional Government, because without their support, this National would not have been possible, and the work of Anfa Chillán and Regional, for receiving these delegations.”
“It is an honor to have all of our country’s teams in our city and the region, we welcome them,” stressed Carlos San Martín, helmsman of Anfa Chillán.
“We thank the Regional Government, the mayor of Chillán and the four headquarters, Chillán, Coelemu, Quillón and San Carlos. May the best win,” stressed Brígida, Hormazabal, protocol mayor of Chillán.
Finally, the president of Anfa Regional of Ñuble, stressed that “we had tremendous financial support from the Regional Government to which we thank and the National Council of Amfa Nacional that granted us the headquarters.”
At the close of this edition, for the premiere of group A, Antofagasta beat Aysén and in the background, Chillán went out to look for its first victory against Chañaral.
