The vehicle had been stolen in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood.
After some investigative assignments, the Palpalá Investigative Brigade personnel managed to recover a bicycle that had been stolen from a house in that city and which was then put up for sale through social networks.
The operation took place last Monday, where investigators recovered the stolen bicycle in the Santa Bárbara neighborhood of the steel city.
The criminal act occurred on the morning of the aforementioned day, resulting in a man reporting that unknown persons entered the balcony of his home and stole a bicycle.
Subsequently, the victim’s brother reported seeing the stolen item posted on a Facebook social network trading page. Upon learning of this, together with the investigators, they established a collection point, the place referred to as a sector of the 25 de Mayo neighborhood. Present at the appointed time, the seller presented himself next to the bicycle in question, who, having heard the intervening tax authorities, ordered the arrest of the subject and the seizure of the vehicle.
Subsequently, the protagonist and the recovered asset were taken to the Police Unit, in order to carry out the rigorous procedures and trace the relative return to its owner.
