A 20-year-old man was sentenced to three years in prison by the court in Roanne, in the Loire.
In March 2021, he abducted and sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl. The 20-year-old man is a Nigerian refugee. The young victim, 11 years old, suffers from an intellectual disability.
Abducted, she was found in a hotel room in a town in the Loire a few hours after her disappearance. The man had forcefully kissed the girl. She had also been touched.
The 20-year-old man was sentenced to three years in prison on Tuesday March 22, with a permanent ban on appearing on French territory.
