The Faroek program on VTM broadcast the robot portrait of a man suspected of attempted rape. The facts are said to have occurred in Crainhem, on the outskirts of Brussels.
On February 17, Manon, 18, said she was followed by a man while she was walking in her neighborhood. “I felt that someone was following me,” she says. “I started walking faster because I was scared and wanted to go home.”
This is where the man called her. “He grabbed me and started touching me. He also said he was going to rape me. I then kicked him in the knee. And punched him in the face. We fell the two of them, then I started to run to take refuge in the bushes. ” Finally, Manon came out of her hiding place when her stepfather arrived, a few minutes after receiving a call from her parents.
Even today, she is afraid of going out of her house. “Whenever I see a man with a big beard, I’m scared,” she says. “Speaking of which, I hope to be better and that we can find the suspect.”
According to VTM, the suspect could have caused other victims. In January, a man attacked a student near Saint-Luc hospital. It could be the same person.
The prosecution indicates that the man speaks French, measures approximately 1.85m that he is between 40 and 50 years old and that he has a thick beard.
