Róbert Mazáň is a new addition to FK Mladá Boleslav.
Twenty-six-year-old defensive player (defender or midfielder) Róbert Mazáň comes from Trenčín, Slovakia. He started playing football at OFK Drietoma, from where he moved to FK AS Trenčín as a teenager, where he worked his way up to adulthood.
At the beginning of 2011 he left for a guest appearance in the Dutch second league Apeldoorn. In February 2014, he became a player of FK Senica and in January 2015 he focused on his second foreign engagement in Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biala, Poland, from which he later guested at MŠK Žilina (2015-17).

In January 2018, he transferred for more than one million euros to the Spanish premier league club Celta Vigo, which he preferred to the offers of the Portuguese Benfica Lisbon or the Italian Atalanta Bergamo.
He also has international experience from the Slovak national team, whose jersey he wore in twenty-three matches – three times in U17, five times in U19, thirteen times in U21 under coach Pavel Hapal and twice for an adult team under coach Ján Kozák.
