Today, Thursday, in Casablanca, the First Instance Criminal Chamber of the Court of Appeal rejected the request for the provisional release of Dr. Al-Tazi and his followers in the file related to the case of human trafficking, fraud and forgery of bills for medical treatments. During the first session, the defense committee submitted a petition in this file to grant the followers temporary release due to guarantees of attendance. This request was rejected by the ruling committee, after deliberation.
The Casablanca Appeal also ruled that the next sessions be held in the presence of observers, in contrast to the session that was held today through the visual analogy technique.
It is noteworthy that the Criminal Chamber of First Instance at the Court of Appeal in Casablanca postponed consideration of the file of the doctor and those with him until next May 4, with the aim of preparing the defence.
Eight people, including a woman and the owner of a private clinic in Casablanca, and a number of employees and officials, are following up on this file, on suspicion of their involvement in a case related to human trafficking, fraud and forgery, and its use in bills related to receiving medical treatments.
