He played football in a saving spirit, Arsenal won with an own goal against Shakhtar in the BL

ARSENAL–SAHTAR DONETK

At the beginning of the match, Arsenal ran down Shakhtar, the Ukrainian team was unable to get out of its own half. In the 7th minute, the London team could have taken the lead after a corner from the right, but Riccardo Calafiori was unable to hit the goal from seven meters. What was delayed was not lost, the home team’s dominance on the field resulted in a goal in the 29th minute: Martinelli pulled inside the penalty area, then aimed for the short bottom – the ball bounced first onto the right post, then onto the foot of goalkeeper Riznik, and from there into the goal.

Even Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz could have scored early in the first half, but none of the domestic attackers were really sharp in front of the goal. After the turn, Sakhtar needed Riznik’s saves to stay in the game, and in the second half of the second half, Arsenal also took it back. In the 77th minute, Mikel Arteta’s team got a penalty with the help of VAR, but Leandro Trossard took the penalty in vain, the visitors’ goalkeeper saved with his foot. Sahtar gave a scare in the beginning, but Raya was in his place with the shots, so the capital guard finally 1–0won the match.

ASTON VILLA–BOLOGNA

Aston Villa awaited the match against Bologna in great form, having defeated both Young Boys and Bayern Munich in the Champions League. Birmingham had to wait a long time for the first goal, but in the 55th minute the home team took the lead: John McGinn’s free kick from the right side was missed by the Italian goalkeeper, who was unable to clear the ball that bounced in front of him. Barely ten minutes later, Unai Emery was able to rejoice again, as Jhon Durran sent the ball into the lower left corner from Morgan Rogers’ soft cross. The match was decided with the second goal, Villa leads the table 100% after three games, without even conceding a goal.

GIRONA–SLOVAN BRATISLAVA

Girona won smoothly against Slovan Bratislava, befitting a contender: they took the lead with a goal from Miguel Gutiérrez at the start of the first half, and the Catalan team secured victory with Juanpe’s 73rd-minute free-kick goal – the home team even had a chance when Stuani missed a penalty in the 88th minute.
