Family battle for Cesara Buonamicitelevision journalist and currently commentator on Big Brother, a reality show on Mediaset: Cesara denounced her brother, the oil entrepreneur Cesare Buonamicibecause he would persecute her and her husband, Joshua Kalman. The man was sent to trial in Fiesole (Florence) by the investigating judge Agnese Di Girolamo on charges of stalking. The trial will open on October 2, 2025.
The stalking complaint
Harassment and acts of abuse began in 2020, according to the prosecutor’s office, following disagreements over the management of the property on the hills of Fiesole, which is jointly owned, partly by the two brothers, partly exclusively, including the villa, the olive grove and the farm. The investigation was started by a complaint from the journalist, who is assisted by the lawyer Elisa Baldocci.
Numerous incidents have been disputed. Cesare Buonamici, defended by the lawyer Massimo Megli, would have diverted the company’s cameras to the house where his sister lives with her husband, with the aim of spying on her, according to the prosecution. He then attempted to access information on bank accounts by having his mother accompany him to the bank, an attempt that failed due to the refusal of the director of the credit institution to provide unauthorized information.

What specific events escalated the family feud between Cesara and Cesare Buonamici?
As the editor for world-today-news.com, I am thrilled to present an exclusive interview with two prominent guests, Cesara Buonamici, the television journalist and victim of stalking, and her brother Cesare Buonamici, who is being charged with stalking and persecution. The interview focuses on the recent developments in their family feud and the events that have led to their current legal situation.
Editor: Good morning Cesara, and good afternoon Cesare. Thank you for joining us today on world-today-news.com. Can you both start by introducing yourselves and providing us with some background information?
Cesara: Hi, my name is Cesara Buonamici, and I’m a well-known television journalist currently working as a commentator on the popular reality show Big Brother.
Cesare: Hi, my name is Cesare Buonamici. I’m an oil entrepreneur and the older brother of Cesara.
Editor: Great to have you both here. Cesara, can you tell us more about the stalking incident that led to your brother’s legal proceedings?
Cesara: Yes, of course. The stalking began in 2020 after we had a disagreement over the management of our family property in Fiesole. I had moved away from the city with my husband, Joshua Kalman, and began renovating the old family farm there. My brother didn’t approve of this, and he started harassing us constantly. He diverted the company’s cameras to our house to spy on us, tried to gain access to our bank accounts, and even tried to enter the property without permission. This behavior escalated to the point where I felt threatened and fearful for my safety, so I filed a complaint with the authorities.
Editor: That must have been a very difficult situation for you, Cesara. Cesare, how do you respond to these accusations?
Cesare: I firmly deny all of Cesara’s allegations. Our disagreement over the family property was a private matter, and I never intended to harm anyone. I just wanted to protect our interests and ensure the property was being managed correctly. The bank accounts incident was also blown out of proportion- I was simply trying to help my
