“He made peace and gave a sense of security”: Itamar Tal fell in the fatal incident in Gaza

Itamar Tal, 32 years old from Kibbutz Misilot, a soldier in Battalion 6261, Brigade 261, fell yesterday along with 20 other soldiers in a serious incident in the Gaza Strip. Tal was smiling and pleasant, loved life and family, loved spending time with friends and going on vacations abroad, good food, sports and his five nephews to whom he was very attached. He worked at the “Claruti” company as a programmer.

His family said that they are “shocked and pained by his passing and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the great concern of the envelopers”.

The director of the community, Tom Albo, said that “Kibbutz Misilot mourns the passing of Itamar Tal, son of the kibbutz and son of kibbutz members Zamera and Ariel Tal. We wrap the parents Zamera and Ariel and the brothers Uria, Avidan and Oren upon learning the bitter news. May his rest be in Eden.”

The members of Tal’s group in the kibbutz paid tribute to him: “Itamar was a friend, a dear brother with a captivating smile and a wide and pure heart. He always knew how to say the right thing, make peace and give everyone the feeling and confidence that everything will be fine.”

Tal will be laid to rest tomorrow (Wednesday) at 14:00 at the cemetery in Kibbutz Masilat.
