Two years’ imprisonment, of which eighteen months with probationary suspension of two years. Such is the sentence pronounced, Monday at the beginning of the evening, by the correctional court of Montluçon, against one of the two attackers of a young person in his twenties.
Aged 20, he was tried in immediate appearance, like his 19-year-old accomplice who, for his part, was sentenced to eighteen months in prison, including fourteen months suspended on probation for two years.

“Freely and cowardly”
The two defendants, whose criminal records are clean, and who presented “insert elements” are all the same “past, a hair’s breadth from the warrant of deposit”, wanted to specify the court.
Sunday morning, a little before 6:30 a.m., in Montluçon, they had therefore “freely and cowardly”, according to a source familiar with the matter, attacked a young person who was about to go on vacation. With his bag, he was quietly waiting for his carpool appointment, on the banks of the Cher, when two young people approached and asked him for a cigarette.
One of them first tried to grab his bag, then, joined by two other young men, they beat him violently with a lot of punches and kicks.
Saved by a motorist
The victim then tried to run away, before being caught and beaten again, in particular with a stick. The arrival of a motorist only putting an end to the ordeal of the young man.
Warned, the police quickly went to the scene and managed to arrest, almost in stride, three of the four attackers, who remained nearby. Attackers whose reports had been given by the motorist and the victim.
The fourth was arrested a few minutes later, while trying to hide in the grass on the banks of the Cher. With, on him, objects belonging to the victim.
Ten days of ITT for the victim
At the same time, the firefighters took care of the latter, injured and badly shocked, and who benefited from ten days of ITT. The four attackers, two adults and two minors, thus found themselves in police custody in the premises of the Montluçon police station.
And if the first two were judged in immediate appearance, the two minors will be presented, today, Tuesday, before the parquet floor of the minors of Moulins.
