Books – Ahmed Juma and Mina Ghali:
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, told Masrawy that the health condition of the journalist Wael Al-Ibrashi is very stable and has improved in recent days.
This comes as a denial of the news circulating on social networking sites about Al-Ibrashi’s death.
Al-Ibrashi was infected with the new Corona virus about two weeks ago, and is being treated at Sheikh Zayed Specialist Hospital.
Journalist Mohamed Fathy Younes, editor-in-chief of the Ninth TV program on Channel One, confirmed that the talk about Al-Ibrashi’s poor condition or his death were “pure rumors.”
“Al-Ibrashi is improving significantly, and soon he will be discharged from the hospital,” Yunus told Masrawy.
The critic Tariq Al-Shennawi published a post several days ago, through his personal Facebook account, in which he said: “My dear friend Wael Al-Abrashi, God willing, he will soon return to his fans. He recovered completely and left the intensive care room.”
Earlier, Dr. Ahmed Hejres, Director of Zayed Specialist Hospital, confirmed the improvement of Al-Ibrashi’s health, explaining that his condition is stable and he is receiving the necessary treatment since his admission to the hospital affected by his infection with the Coronavirus.
Hejres said that there is an improvement in the condition of Al-Ibrashi daily, and he will be discharged from the hospital after making a full recovery.
