The children were playing on the carousels, us mothers were nearby chatting. There was a group of scooters stopped a short distance from us. I noticed a scooter fall to the ground twice and I heard shouting let’s run away, let’s run away. I saw a boy with a helmet and then I heard the sound of a shot. Everyone was running away, but I remained still. I realized I was injured only after seeing the blood on my leg. At that point some friends intervened and stopped the blood with a scarf and tightened my leg with a belt to stop the bleeding. I was lucky.
