As often happens in the episodes of You are worth it, in addition to the fun there are also moments of intense emotion, and this is how on the evening of 24 October 2020, a young dancer performs: Jessica Carbone. Hers is a particular story, the story of a love broken too soon, but which relives through dance, which has been her greatest passion since she was a young girl.
The story of Jessica and Antonino
An intense choreography, on a poignant music is the one that sees Jessica as the protagonist who performs with great emotional transport, so much so that she cannot hold back her tears in the final act of her dance, when looking towards the sky she raised her hands, as a sign of greeting, of contact. His arms stretched upward, they wanted to embrace Antonino Oricchio, her boyfriend who sadly passed away last year. Theirs was a pure love, a love of two young boys who dreamed of living their life together. The exhibition, accompanied by photos of the 23-year-old and her boyfriend, moved the judges who, attentively, listened to her story:
If I am here today it is thanks to him, he is inside me, since it all happened I had stopped dancing. I told him if one day I will recover it will be for you. I promised him, because he always followed me in everything, he encouraged me to dance. I got a call from the dance teacher who said, why don’t you pick it up, you will dance only for Antonino. I was convinced, so in my salon, this choreography was born between a tear and a movement. I know he is proud of me. I am happy to be here, to have made Antonino known, to have transmitted our love to you.

The first to comment on the performance is Teo Mammucari: “You did a beautiful thing of love, congratulations. Indeed you are an example. You have been really good”. The other judges also agree that Jessica transmitted not only her talent, but also all her feelings and emotions, giving the Canale 5 audience a magical moment, so much so that Maria De Filippi who asks: “Will you come back to dance?” and the girl: “At the moment I’m doing it for him, then maybe I’ll start doing it for myself “.
