The fiddler-nominated artist has shared an emotional post on social media, where he reveals that he has moved in with his girlfriend.

– I have probably always assumed that there have been rooms in me myself, which I have not dared to open and look into, the artist writes on Instagram and Facebook Tuesday night.
– Where dating women has been nice, but that in a few moments I have felt a greater glow and a little deeper in the meeting with men. But also the shame and the fear, he writes further.
Sondre Justad revealed already in 2018 that he is bisexual, during a TV appearance on «Lindmo». Then VG asked the artist the girlfriend question in November, he replied that “love is doing well.”
VG has tried to contact the artist through his manager, Julius Diesen, but Sondre Justad does not want to comment on the matter beyond what is in the post.
–The artist now reveals that he met his girlfriend early in the beginning of the corona pandemic, and that they have now moved in together:
– Today we live together, can hold hands on the street without seeing ourselves from the outside and it is mostly experienced as the most natural thing in the world, the 31-year-old writes.
– He is chill, charming, quite sincere, not self-righteous, meaty a lot and probably has some of the qualities that I have missed in myself.
The 31-year-old also announces that he feels “richer and more in place” than he can ever remember.
Alerts new music
Justad’s second and so far last album was released in 2018. However, there has been a lot of news about the sequel.
The artist has previously told VG that he had to take a long break from touring life in 2019 to find a new direction in music.
Now, however, the third album must be finished, Justad writes on Instagram.
He has previously told Under the tassel that it smelled like a new album at the beginning of the new year.
– Through the headset I hear my own thoughts and feelings from the last three or four years, he writes.
Justad broke through with the debut album “Tear in the heart” in 2015. The title track in particular struck a chord, and the album remained on the VG list for over a year.
The artist is often referred to as a Norwegian answer to Håkan Hellström, and has become a favorite festival name around the country.
