Gastón Ragazzone became the winner of the Mendoza Young Entrepreneur Award, awarded by the Mendoza Economic Federation. The entrepreneur, who also received an Honorable Mention in the Technological Development category, created Uco Drone, a company that provides drone spraying of agricultural plantations, with the aim of achieving sustainable land management, making it safer, more efficient. and economic.

Now, Ragazzone will now compete for the Young Argentine Entrepreneur Award, awarded by CAME (Argentine Confederation of Medium Enterprises) and CAME Joven. It should be remembered that, last year, this award was in the hands of Mauricio Pío De Amoriza from Mendoza, who beat other young people in the country for the work carried out with his company Madera Plástica Mendoza.

Other winners of the national award from Mendoza were Alexis Atem, in 2012, with his firm Energe (solar energy equipment) and Martín Benito, in 2017, with Biosano (he produces 100% biodegradable products).

The Mendocino Young Entrepreneur Award is organized by the Young FEM, with the aim of highlighting those who have excelled in the development and projection of their company, by encouraging competitive capacity, innovation, wealth creation and the promotion of employment in the society. Since the award was launched in 2012, the FEM, together with various provincial chambers, has already awarded more than 60 entrepreneurs.

For Social Recognition, to Nicolás Ojeda, from Bulgarus, a clothing brand “with its own personality”, which he created together with two partners, all students.
To the Regional Productive Development, to Rodrigo Valladares, from Solper, a company that develops solar energy projects, mainly for industry and agriculture.
To the Generational Relay, to José Ignacio Goldstein, from Goldstein, a family company in the automotive industry, focused on sales and after-sales of new and used units, and of which the third generation is made up.
To the International Projection, to Mariela Rerdanoski, of Ohana, a firm dedicated to the effective advice of finance, administration and financial education.

The award ceremony was held this morning, in the annex building of the Legislature, with the presence of the president of the FEM, Alfredo Cecchi; the Secretary General of CAME Joven, Bruno Sanguinetti; the vice-governor of the province, Mario Abed; and the Mayor of Capital, Ulpiano Suarez.
