Every month, he receives a total income of just over 1,000 lei from the state. Enough money, he says, enough to lead a decent life in the country. He attended the courses organized by the Employment Agency, and in the end he also got a high grade.
Asked what he learned in class, Valentin Leonte replied: “When the cow is mounted, when the piglet is mounted, on what date, how many months, about agriculture, when it is sown, when it is harvested, with what it is sprinkled”.
As for looking for a job, the man said he would do it if needed.
Nicoleta has 2 small children. And, like her neighbor, she never had a job. But he doesn’t even intend to look.
Nicoleta Bejinaru, social worker: “In town. If I go to the city, we get a shuttle of 300 lei per month. Apart from my food at home. I have 2 small children who go to school. We can’t live in the country without an animal next to the house. How much salary does he give us there? A salary for nothing, where should I go? We live on social assistance and the children’s allowance, from there we eat, we dress the children for school ”.
The woman says that so far she has only worked during the day.
With 4 children, all minors, Mihaela complains that she cannot look for a job, due to health reasons. The woman says she lives on what she works in the village.
Asked if she is willing to go to Iasi to look for a job, the woman says that if she had transport she would go.

Labor inspectors trained more than 200 people from rural areas, most of them from Probota commune. They took courses with them, especially in the field of agriculture and animal husbandry.
