LONDON Well-known ITV presenter Piers Morgan ends up on the Good Morning Britain team after indirectly calling Prince Harry’s wife a liar on Monday. Duchess Meghan, who complained about the racist tendencies of the media and the royal court in a new interview, allegedly did not believe a word. Ofcom had previously announced that it had launched an investigation into Morgan’s statements Monday after receiving more than 41,000 complaints. The moderator’s approach to the Duchess’s statement on mental health problems was also criticized by the mental health organization Mind, which is dedicated to mental health. “It is crucial that we treat people with dignity, respect and empathy when they show that they need support or when they share experiences of poor mental health,” she said.
In today’s statement, ITV CEO Carolyn McCall assured her company that she is “completely committed” to promoting mental health. She is said to believe in the Duchess of Sussex.
