The owner had not said his last word. When his motocross was stolen, this resident did not give up. On the Internet, he ended up finding his vehicle on the Bon Coin. He pretended to be a buyer and made an appointment in Chelles (Seine-et-Marne), Sunday March 13, 2022, at 11:30 a.m.
Four people arrested in Chelles
That day, he shows up on the spot as if nothing had happened. But, he had warned the police in advance. The agents remain at a distance, discreetly.
At 11:40 a.m., two people arrive with the motorbike. The owner recognizes his vehicle. He signals to the police. Officers arrest the two vendors. The owner was able to recover his motorcycle, by decision of the Meaux prosecutor’s office.
€23,000 in cash
According to a police source, the discoveries did not stop there. The agents go, with the two sellers, to the accommodation from which they left to go to the meeting.
There, the police find five other motocrossers. Their provenance is undetermined. Officers seized the motorcycles. The prosecution will decide to have them destroyed.
The police ended up arresting four people in all. She also intervened in another dwelling, in Coudreaux: the family home of the two sellers, who would be brothers.
The police saw a third man come there to get something to take in his bag. Shortly before, the agents had checked him and seen that the bag was empty.
Immediately after the visit to the two brothers, the police checked him again and found €23,000 in cash in the bag.
Reminder of the law and citizenship course
Four people in all were arrested, including the mother of the two brothers.
One of the brothers, who is a minor, received a warning. The second is an adult and will follow a citizenship course at his own expense. The third man and the mother were released without further action.
