“Hello my brother, I loved you like a son”. Few words, full of pain, those published Iva Zanicchi on Instagram who announced the death of his brother Antonio. The cause seems to be Covid, the same one that had struck the famous singer and TV presenter in the past week.
It was Iva Zanicchi, speaking with La Stampa, who stated that “The virus entered the house and infected us all at the confirmation of my sister’s nephew” and he had said that she was better, but the brothers had also become infected and had admitted to being worried about her brother still hospitalized and heart disease.
Iva Zanicchi managed to recover after hospitalization. “At first I had bad bones, fever – he had told in an interview with Libero retracing his experience – The doctor decides to treat me at home. The oximeter was good, 95. After two days I get a cold I can’t breathe. By chance, this boy from the Hyenas, Alessandro Politi, calls me for work. He tells me: “But Iva, you don’t speak well, you go to the hospital for a CT scan”. She insists: “You’re like a mother, I’ve made an appointment for you.” He saved my life… ».
After healing, at the time of discharge, Zanicchi had wanted to thank in her own way the health staff who had taken care of her. He did so through a video posted on Instagram accompanied by a post: «I left the hospital, I go home, I wanted to thank them, because they are not only heroes, they are professionals. They make great sacrifices and they never stop! I wish you all the best !!!! And thanks also to all of you for the beautiful messages I have received in these days. Pay attention, a kiss ».
