The British musician <a href="https://www.world-today-news.com/former-hairstylist-one-direction-slaps-out-of-school-entertainment/" title="Former hairstylist One Direction slaps out of school | Entertainment”>Liam Payne, former member of the band One Direction, died at the age of 31 this Wednesday in Buenos Aires after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Palermo, a Buenos Aires neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Liam Payne spent his last days in Argentina: on October 2 he attended a concert by Niall Horan, with whom he was part of One Direction alongside Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.
What happened to Liam Payne?
Alberto Crescenti, director of the Emergency Medical Care System (SAME) in Buenos Aires, told local media that the singer fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur hotel, a height of around 13 or 14 meters, which caused him “ “very serious injuries that immediately caused his death.”
“At 5:04 p.m. (local time) we received a call from 911 to be alerted of a person who was at the Hotel Casa Sur, a few minutes later a local SAME team arrived and confirmed the death of this man who later told us. We found out it was from a musical group. He had injuries incompatible with life,” stated Crescenti.
It is unknown whether Liam Payne jumped or fell by accident. Crescenti assured that the police are already investigating the death and are awaiting the results of the autopsy, “apparently he had a fractured skull base.”
The person in charge of the place, according to what was published by EFE, “He heard a loud noise in the rear internal lung of the hotel, and when the officers arrived, they confirmed the death of a man who had jumped from the balcony of his room.”
The Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 16 was assigned to the case and the presence of the Criminalistics Unit was ordered, as well as the transfer of the body to the morgue, the same news agency said regarding the death of Liam Payne.
Who was Liam Payne?
Liam Payne was born on August 29, 1993 in Wolverhampton, England, and his taste for music began at an early age.
On one occasion he went to the television program called The He performed a Michael Bublé song.
He did not make it to the finals, but Simon Cowell decided to join him with other singers and One Direction was formed, with whom he competed again in the talent contest in 2011, when they came in third place.
