He has been working for the young company “SimpleBreath” in Markranstädt (Leipzig district) since last week, as CEO Maximilian Karl Schmidt confirmed on Monday. Initially the “Leipziger Volkszeitung” and “The mirror“reported.

Sadaat works full-time and works four days a week as a plant and machine operator, said Schmidt.

Among other things, the company produces FFP2 protective masks, but at the same time wants to set up a new company in the field of IT consulting.

“One day a week, Mr. Sadaat is already busy building up the new company. From January onwards, he will work full-time as an IT consultant for the new company,” said Schmidt.

Sadaat claims that after many years as an expert in the telecommunications industry, Sadaat became part of the Afghan government under President Ashraf Ghani (72), who has since fled.

In 2018 he resigned after two years under pressure from the narrow circle around Ghani, said Sadaat. In his own words, he came to Germany in 2020 to work in the telecommunications industry.

“I found out about his story from the media and just wrote to him,” said Schmidt. He did not expect success from this, but thought that Sadaat had already been recruited by another IT company. “We are giving away so much potential in Germany. That’s why I thought that he should just be given a chance.”
