He donates his sperm for free. I see it as charity, says the father of dozens of children

“I enjoy helping people and seeing those happy children grow up. That’s the best part of it all. I am currently the father of 61 children with nine more on the way. Plus it is quite possible that one other woman is also pregnant. So there are about seventy of them in total,” confided the serial sperm donor to the aforementioned WalesOnline server.

Gordy, who has already donated his sperm to more than 150 families from different countries around the world, does not charge a single penny for his services, he says he perceives his activity as charity. According to her, she wants to help single women or couples who want to avoid the services of sperm banks with excessive fees.

The American has been donating sperm for nine years, and so far he has met 11 children, whom he fathered. “I don’t have a number I want to reach. If people don’t need my help, I’ll stop,” says Gordy, who first donated his sperm to a lesbian couple in 2014.

“Relationships weren’t working out for me, so I wanted to at least help someone I knew. It came up during a conversation. One of the girls told me that she wanted to visit a sperm bank, and I suggested that she could get pregnant with me,” she describes her beginnings.

“I don’t want any money for it because I just don’t think it’s right. I want the children to grow up knowing that I did it because I wanted to help, and not because of the money,” he says, adding that a sperm donor can usually earn around $1,500 to $2,500 (about 33 up to 56 thousand crowns).

Even considering the fact that he donates sperm completely free of charge, he receives around 50 requests per month. “People usually find me through my website or through referrals. I always connect with those people through a video call, during which we get to know each other better and discuss everything in the smallest details. Out of roughly 50 requests per month, however, for various reasons, only two or three come out,” he concludes.
