Actress Sigourney Weaver, who celebrates her 75th birthday on Tuesday, October 8, quietly and inconspicuously navigates her private life. Unlike many of her colleagues, she does not collect scandals and has been happily married to director Jim Simpson (68) for 40 years. It was only recently that the fact that their daughter Charlotte (34) does not have a distinct gender identity came to light.
