EMPOLI. Darkness fell when the news of the disappearance of the artist arrived at the “Miosotys Dans Academy” in via Arti e Mestieri in Montelupo Fiorentino. Giuseppe Alessandro Castellino, 30 years old, after the crash in Fi-Pi-Li in Collesalvetti.
At the time the dance school was called from Tyrrhenian, no one had yet learned of the tragedy. “He had been collaborating with us for at least five, six years – explains the director and founder of the school, Katia Mancini – used the gym in our spaces for his own activity. I have no words”.
He simply called himself Alessandro, he was born in Empoli on May 30, 1990. When he was 25, he started an activity as a personal coach both at home and at Miosotys, with whom he had entered into an agreement to use their spaces. He had created the Facebook page “Invictus Personal Trainer”, in which he described himself and his business. “I immediately fell in love with sport, which I have practiced since I was a child – he wrote himself – and by making care of the body and mind a philosophy of life,” mens sana in corpore sano “, I became part of this world in 2011, becoming a weight room instructor and personal trainer. Later, eager to deepen my personal sports cultural background, I also graduated as an instructor of various courses such as kettlebell, barbell training, aerobics, step, fit boxing, functional training, total body and masseur ».
The passion had led him to attend courses and take certificates to certify his skills in terms of weight loss, muscle toning, increase in strength and muscle mass. “Whatever your goal, whatever the reason for your happiness, anything can be achieved,” was his motto. He took great care of his body without renouncing to take off whims in the kitchen, demonstrating that with fatigue it was possible to burn and not assimilate.
He was passionate about travel and motorcycles: until there was the pandemic he went to the curious discovery of the main European capitals and, when he could, he delighted on two wheels: up to three years ago with a red Ducati 749, which he had then decided to sell and then buy another. After the pain for the death of Castellino from Empoli, there is apprehension in Bassa for the conditions of his girlfriend Maria Carmela Molisse, 36 years old, residing in the hamlet of Cerreto Guidi and who was with him at the time of the crash. –
