“He died of his grief because of the false promises of the stars.” The friend of the artist, Atef Saeed, reveals his suffering before his departure

I wrote – Manal El Geyoushi:

Today, Thursday, the artist Atef Saeed left our world, and his friend narrated through his Facebook account about the late artist’s suffering from lack of work during his last days.

And he wrote: “We belong to God and to Him we shall return. The artist, Professor Atef Al-Saeed, passed away a short time ago. Forgive me for the words that I will say, but I was deeply saddened when I learned the news.”

He continued: “I was all that I prepared from the side of a coffee by chance next to the institute. I used to meet Uncle Atef, who was sitting alone, worried. The first thing he saw me was telling me, come, sit down and drink tea with me. Aref does the need of others, despite his difficult health and financial conditions, and sits telling me about false stances and promises that he takes from big stars.

And he added: “He wanted to film in any way, and the last time I saw him was about two weeks ago. I was in filming and I met him and his son, whom our Lord took care of after him in the location by chance, so I asked him what are you doing here, Uncle Atef? To me that you are with me in the series that is coming.”

And he continued: “He told me, O Omar, that I can work like many people, post a post, ask for a job, and work like all those who do this today, but my dignity does not allow me to do this, and what really annoyed me was that he spoke to me a week ago and asked me to go with him to a company when he knew that the owner of the company My friend and I promised him, as soon as we return to Cairo, I will speak to him and go together.

And he continued: “Glory be to God, I had in my mind yesterday that I spoke to him and told him that I would return within two days, but our Lord remembered him. Uncle Atef was a respected and struggling man with self-esteem. When you see him running, imagine with him, and he would remain very happy.”

He concluded his speech by saying: “Forgive me for the word uncle, but I was used to saying it to him. Professor Atef died with his grief, but our Lord went to justice, and there was a lot of talk in it, but unfortunately not everyone who said speaks.
