After less than five minutes Thomas Müller was already sure of his record. The attacking midfielder passed the ball perfectly with Kingsley Coman and the French flank attacker made it 0-1. It was Thomas Müller’s 21st assist this season in the Bundesliga.
With that, Müller broke the record of Kevin De Bruyne. The Red Devil accounted for 20 assists at Wolfsburg in 2015. De Bruyne is still chasing the record in the Premier League, as he has 16 assists with Manchester City this season. The record is held by Thierry Henry. The Frenchman once accounted for 20 assists at Arsenal.
