After releasing the iOS 16 update in September, Apple has now released version 16.2, which not only contains security updates and other minor changes, but also comes with a whole new set of features.
And German newspaper ‘Bild’ said the new update will offer more options for the ‘Always-On-Display’ feature, known as ‘AOD’.
And the new updates should include an application that is a digital whiteboard: when you open it, a white surface appears on which you can draw, write or attach digital notes, and you can use it as a space for brainstorming, brainstorming, planning projects or gathering ideas.
New widget applications
With the iOS 16 operating system, the so-called “widget lock screen” for iPhone was introduced, and with the update to version 16.2 two new widgets were added.
According to the newspaper “Bild”, it is now possible to use the “widget” to remind yourself of the medications that are to be taken via the “Health-App” and to allow the display of sleep data from the previous night.
And here Apple takes a step back again, and from now on users can choose what to show the Always On Display (AOD) when the iPhone is locked and can also turn off the background image, according to Bild.
