Subhadra, a native of Kootnad, Palakkad, received help from supporters. People came to help after seeing Wattenad School teacher Girija’s Facebook post about their situation.
Subhadra has 3 children including a seventeen year old son who is ill. After her husband’s death 5 months ago, she was left without any support. Subhadra leaves her 2 sons to her son and goes to work. She lives in a dilapidated hut. Girija asked the teacher for help when she saw no way to carry on her life.
After paying the required amount, the teacher informed the world about their miserable life through social media. Seeing Subhadra’s helplessness, supporters stepped in and helped, and the suffering ended. Subhadra is preparing to half complete household chores and further treatment of her son with this money.
